Pioneers in predictive algorithms for insulators
At LGI we are pioneers in the intelligent monitoring of insulators thanks to our R&D team with more than six years of experience and several technical publications on this form of intelligent maintenance of insulators in power lines.
We offer our customers the “Smart Insulation” product, a predictive system for the maintenance of insulators that optimizes maintenance, reduces ownership costs and improves the decision on the selection and sizing of insulation, considering the different environments in which the power lines are installed.
This system is based on
Insulator monitoring
Equipment is installed on the line consisting of a series of suspension sensors together with a base station and certain servers. Through this system, data related to the insulation of the line as important as the leakage current is extracted.
Data analysis
Based on the monitored data and an advanced analysis of the measurements taken, we provide the client with meteorological profile studies, pollution maps, pollution severity determinations and studies to improve maintenance schemes
Machine learning
With the large volume of data obtained in the field and advanced analytics, we have developed predictive algorithms and automatic learning developments based on artificial intelligence to evaluate the most critical conditions of the line, allowing the design of the insulation based on reliability criteria.
